American AuPair Program is a legally protected cultural exchange program supported by American government. In order to make the young people have the chance to experience American cultures in America, study English and promote friendship each other, American government permit that the American families with children can apply to accept one Au Pair who is from some other country of the world and holding a J1 visa to stay one to two years at their home with free accommodations. Au Pair is not nanny, but one member of the family, like a big brother or sister to help the American parents take care of the little brothers and sisters, and also do some light housework. The American families will give some pocket money to the Au Pair every week, and also provide the Au Pair assist to help them study 6 or 12 credits in the local university in their spare time. Besides these, au pair will have a two-week paid vacation and after the Au Pair finish their one or two years exchange program, they can also extend their length of stay for another month and travel to other places in America.

American Au Pair program has about 20 year history, and there are over 50000 Au Pairs coming to America every year, becoming a member of the family and enjoying health insurance like the American. Au Pair program now change to the cultural communication among the young all over the world from the communications between Europe and America at the beginning. Now the program comes to China, and provides a good chance for Chinese young people to experience the American cultures and lives and improve their English. Au Pair Duties

1.      Accompanying the little brothers and sisters, sending them to school and picking up home;

2.      Tutoring their homework;

3.      Teaching them some simple Chinese language;

4.      Playing with them, responsible for their safety;

5.      Doing some simple housework.

Au Pair Benefits

Au Pair Requirements
1. At the age of 18-26, 26.5 is okey for English fluent speakers
2. At least senior high school diploma
3. Good at English speaking and listening

4. Loving, independent and responsible, love to stay with children
5. With valid driver’s license
6. With healthy body and like to experience au pair life
7.Priority in experience of teaching, nursing or training
